You’ll begin with a night in the port city of Yokohama, with free time to visit unique attractions like the Cup Noodles Museum and Chinatown. Then, travel by private car to Hakone, where you’ll unwind at a traditional hot spring ryokan. On day three, witness the power of nature at Owakudani’s volcanic valley and enjoy picture-perfect views of Mt. Fuji from Lake Kawaguchi’s Ōishi Park and Oshino Hakkai. The trip ends with free exploration in Tokyo, giving you the flexibility to shop, dine, or simply relax before departure.
What To Expect
- Day 1 – Arrival in Japan & Stay in Yokohama
Welcome to Japan! Upon arrival at either Narita International Airport (NRT) or Haneda Airport (HND), our driver will be waiting for you at the arrival hall. We will arrange a private transfer based on your flight schedule and take you directly to your hotel in Yokohama’s Minato Mirai area.
After check-in, the rest of the day is yours to relax or explore at your leisure. Whether you’re strolling along the waterfront promenade or trying local cuisine, Yokohama offers a gentle and friendly introduction to Japan.
- Day 2 Morning in Yokohama & Scenic Transfer to Hakone Onsen
Start your second day in Yokohama with a relaxing morning. You’ll have plenty of time to explore this charming port city at your own pace and soak in the local culture and atmosphere.

🥣 Cup Noodles Museum – Create your own custom cup of instant noodles and learn about the history and creativity behind this Japanese invention.
🏮 Yokohama Chinatown – Stroll through one of the largest and most vibrant Chinatowns in Japan, full of delicious street food and cultural sights.
🌊 Yamashita Park – Take a peaceful walk along the scenic waterfront and enjoy the ocean breeze.In the early afternoon, around 2:00 PM, a private car will pick you up from your hotel and take you to Hakone, a picturesque mountain resort area known for its natural beauty and soothing hot springs.
Upon arrival, check in to a traditional Japanese onsen ryokan (hot spring inn). Unwind with a relaxing soak in the natural hot springs and enjoy a peaceful evening in the mountains, complete with a traditional Japanese dinner.

- Day 3 – Hakone to Mt. Fuji: Owakudani, Lake Kawaguchi & Oshino Hakkai
After breakfast, check out from your Hakone onsen hotel and depart on a full-day scenic journey toward the Mt. Fuji region by private car.
Your first stop is Ōwakudani, a volcanic valley formed by Mount Hakone’s last eruption. Known for its sulfur vents and geothermal steam, this site offers dramatic views and the famous “black eggs” (Kuro-tamago), believed to add years to your life.
Next, you’ll head to Ōishi Park on the northern shore of Lake Kawaguchi, one of the Fuji Five Lakes. From here, enjoy a postcard-perfect view of Mt. Fuji framed by seasonal flowers and the calm lake. Visit Oshino Hakkai, a traditional village famous for its eight crystal-clear spring ponds fed by Mt. Fuji’s snowmelt. The charming thatched-roof houses and pure waters offer a glimpse into old Japan.
After your nature-filled adventure, return to Tokyo in the late afternoon. Check in to your hotel and enjoy the evening at your leisure.

Today is yours to explore the vibrant capital city of Japan at your own pace. Whether you’re interested in tradition, pop culture, shopping, or food, Tokyo offers something for everyone.
You can choose to relax or dive deep into the city’s neighborhoods — from ancient temples to cutting-edge digital art, serene gardens to bustling fashion streets.

- Day 5 – Departure from Tokyo or Optional Extension
Enjoy your final morning in Tokyo at your own pace. Depending on your flight schedule, you may wish to explore a nearby café, shop for last-minute souvenirs, or take a final stroll through the neighborhood.
