Kapanda Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Kapanda! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Kapanda's platform, website, and related services ("Services"). By registering, browsing, or making a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
1. About Kapanda
Kapanda is a Japan-based Destination Management Company (DMC) connecting travelers with local experience providers. We operate as a booking platform but are not the direct provider of all listed activities.
2. User Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, legally capable of entering binding agreements, and comply with local laws. All information you provide must be accurate and up to date.
3. Bookings & Payments
Bookings are only valid once confirmed by the provider. Prices shown are final unless otherwise noted. All payments are processed securely via third-party platforms (e.g., Stripe, PayPal). Kapanda is not responsible for issues caused by incorrect user-provided details.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
Each provider has their own cancellation policy. If none is provided, standard policy applies: full refund for cancellations made more than 72 hours in advance; no refund within 72 hours or for no-shows. Force majeure cases (e.g., natural disasters) will be reviewed case by case.
5. User Responsibilities
You agree not to engage in illegal, harmful, or abusive behavior. Respect guides, fellow users, and follow experience instructions.
6. Experience Provider Responsibilities
Providers must offer accurate information, possess valid permits/insurance, and deliver safe, professional experiences. They must cooperate in resolving disputes or refund requests.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on Kapanda (text, images, logos, videos, etc.) is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, or use it for commercial purposes without permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
Kapanda is not liable for: personal injuries or property damage during experiences; service failures by providers; transaction issues due to third-party errors; or delays, cancellations, or unforeseen disruptions. Maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for the affected service.
9. Privacy & Data Protection
We respect your privacy. Your data is handled in accordance with our Privacy & Cookie Policy. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data at any time.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our Services implies acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Japanese law. Disputes will be handled under the jurisdiction of Japanese courts unless otherwise required by local laws.
