  Arrive in Takayama, often known as the “Little Kyoto of Hida.”

  Guests are free to explore the preserved old town district, enjoy local cuisine, visit traditional cafés, and browse local craft shops.

  Enjoy one of Japan’s most popular summer traditions.

  Cold noodles flow down a bamboo water channel fed by fresh mountain spring water. Participants use chopsticks to catch the noodles as they pass by.

  This unique experience offers a fun and refreshing introduction to rural Japanese summer culture.

   

  15:00 – 18:00 | Free Exploration of Takayama

  Continue exploring Takayama at your own pace.

  08:30 – 10:00 | Scenic Drive to Shirakawa-go

  Travel through the beautiful mountain landscapes of the Hida region.

  10:00 – 13:00 | Free Exploration of Shirakawa-go

  Arrive at Shirakawa-go, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

  The village is famous for its unique thatched-roof houses and rich rural heritage.

  Depart Shirakawa-go and travel back to Nagoya.
