Begin your adventure at Amanohashidate, one of Japan’s Three Scenic Views, where a pine-covered sandbar stretches gracefully across the bay. Continue to Ine Boathouses, often regarded as one of Japan’s most beautiful fishing villages, and experience the tranquil atmosphere of this unique waterfront community.
On the second day, step into the magical world of Sakaiminato, the hometown of GeGeGe no Kitaro creator Shigeru Mizuki. Stroll along the famous Mizuki Shigeru Road, lined with over 170 yokai bronze statues, themed shops, and charming local streets that blend folklore with everyday life. Then enjoy the fresh flavors of the Sea of Japan at the Sakaiminato Seafood Market, known for its seasonal crab, tuna, and local specialties.
The journey concludes at the spectacular Tottori Sand Dunes, Japan’s largest sand dune landscape. Walk across the rolling dunes overlooking the Sea of Japan, take memorable photos, or try optional activities such as camel rides and sandboarding.
