Kendo is one of Japan’s traditional martial arts, developed from the swordsmanship of ancient samurai. Using bamboo swords and protective armor, Kendo is not only about technique, but also about discipline, respect, and the unity of mind, skill, and body.

The charm of Kendo lies in its spirit of self-improvement, strong sense of etiquette, full-body training, and deep concentration. Through practice and matches, participants develop focus, resilience, and mental strength while experiencing the traditions of Japanese martial culture.

        Basic equipment includes:

        • Shinai (bamboo sword)
