Glimpse the joy of real travelers here
The journey on the Lotus Train was characterized by a clean cabin and commendable service from the crew. The provision of hot and cold water for free was a valuable amenity. our experience with VN Railway was smoother. Therefore, while the Lotus Train is appreciated for its cleanliness and service, improvements in the operation of the train could significantly enhance the overall experience.
The journey from Da Nang's coastal charm to the vibrant streets of Hanoi is made delightful aboard the Lotus Train. With commendable amenities and timely service, it's a travel experience that combines relaxation with the thrill of exploration.
Traversing from the historic city of Hue to the bustling capital, Hanoi, the Lotus Train offers a harmonious blend of comfort and punctuality. The cabins are clean and well-equipped, ensuring a restful journey amidst the picturesque landscapes of Vietnam.
We had a pleasant journey in a 4-person cabin, comfortably accommodating our group with two beds. The cabin was well-maintained and clean, adding to the comfort of our journey. The toilets were also kept clean throughout the journey. Highly recommended for group travel. Thank you, Lotus Train!
The Lotus Train ensured a smooth and comfortable journey. The seating and the arrangement were especially commendable, designed thoughtfully for long haul travel. The overall experience was hassle-free and pleasant, making it a recommended choice for travel.
Our overnight journey from Hue to Ninh Binh aboard the night train was a memorable experience. While one must accommodate the inherent uneven tracks and the consistent rattling and noise of the train, these minor inconveniences faded in comparison to the overall pleasantness of the trip. The cabin provided a cozy refuge, and the cleanliness of both the washing areas and the WCs was maintained impeccably throughout the journey.
The Lotus Train offered a pleasant travel experience. The bed was clean and adequately soft for train-bed standards, enhancing the comfort level of the journey. The washrooms were well-maintained, with no unpleasant odors. A suggestion for improvement would be the addition of curtains for increased privacy, especially in cases where fellow passengers may not be as considerate. Overall, the journey was comfortable and met expectations.
The Lotus Train from Hanoi to Hue is a splendid option among the various modes of transport between these two cities. The 13-hour journey surpassed our expectations with its cleanliness, including the washrooms. Our booking was done online and the entire process unfolded seamlessly as per the schedule. We were a group of four friends, two couples, enjoying the comforts of a deluxe cabin. Complimentary water, fruits, and WiFi were provided, enhancing our travel experience. Departure and arrival were punctually on the dot. Overall, the experience was highly positive, and we would certainly recommend the Lotus Train to others. Additionally, it's an efficient way to economize by combining travel with a night's accommodation.
I'd like to express my strong endorsement of the overnight train journey from Hanoi to Da Nang for anyone who dislikes flying domestically and enjoys an adventurous twist. There was a minor hiccup with my train booking, but the issue was promptly resolved through Whatsapp, where I was seamlessly rebooked for the correct date. A helpful hint: it's wise to contact the staff via Whatsapp to confirm availability and dates before making your reservation. The cabin provided a comfortable and clean environment, with the facilities being maintained and cleaned regularly, making them completely acceptable despite some negative reviews. For those who are light sleepers, bringing along earplugs and perhaps some sleeping aids might be a good idea. The constant movement and noise of the train might not disturb you, but a noisy bunch of inconsiderate (and likely intoxicated) French gentlemen might just do the trick. All things considered, the journey was delightful from start to finish, and I arrived in Da Nang precisely on time, down to the minute (a feat Deutsche Bahn could take a cue from!).
Bac Ha Market is truly a unique destination, where you can experience the life of ethnic minorities. I was delighted to witness the culturally diverse architecture here and the boat ride along the Chay River brought an indescribable feeling of relaxation.
